Wine
state farm "Sauk - Dere"
The
biggest collection of wine and cognac of the best marks in Russia
produced in the USSR from 1952 is also kept here. Wine
collection in Sauk - Dere was gathered with the aim of studying
and trying for the wine makers of different generations to be able
to compare results of their labour. The oldest wine had been
stored here in 1952, the oldest cognac - in 1956. The collection
includes more than 70% of assortment of all alcohol drinks
produced in Russia from 1952. The whole amount of bottles in the
collection is about 110 thousand. And the whole amount of
types of drinks is more than 300.
Sauk
- Dere wine company also produces wines from grapes grown in its
own vineyards. 4 - 5 thousand tons of grape of different sorts
are grown here annually. The grapes are processed up (on the
surface of the earth) and the wine is getting matured down
in the cellars. High quality wines are produced from the not pressed
grape juice. The juice extracted from pressing the remained
grape stone and pulp is used for the production of more simple
wines.
Currently
the plant can offer collectors and people who like excellent wines
the following dry white wines.
